The search is on for the Financial Planner of the Year, as the competition for the top planner of 2012 opened this week.
The competition is a joint initiative of Personal Finance, the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) and the Centre for Financial Planning Law at the University of the Free State.
The award honours financial planners who are recognised by their peers as having the best planning skills and practices.
The winner, who will be announced at this year’s FPI conference in June, will attend an international financial planning conference of his or her choice.
Entries must be in by Friday, February 24. Entry forms are available on the FPI’s website, http://www.fpi.co.za/AboutUs/AnnualAwards/FinancialPlanneroftheYear/tabid/3397/Default.aspx
