For one artist, this dream will become a reality when they open for the Chris Brown Carpe Diem tour.
Canoc Productions managing director Phala Letsoalo announced that a second supporting bill competition will take place for Chris Brown’s upcoming concert.
“We encourage musicians to enter this unique competition… the perfect platform to showcase their talents.” says Letsoalo.
The Look At Me Now singer will perform in Cape Town at GrandWest on December 19 and 20. The SA leg of the tour kicks off in Joburg on December 15 and moves to Durban on December 17.
Local artists have until December 10 to create a Facebook profile, and upload their songs, videos and pictures and share it with their fans across social networks.
Fans must then vote for their favourite choice for a specific venue.
The artists with the most votes in each city wins the opportunity to perform as a supporting act.
Letsoalo said to date, 162 acts have entered the competition, and more are expected over the next few days.
