COMIC Marc Lottering launches his new comedy project, Marc Lottering’s Comedy Showcase, at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, for one night on April 6.

The production also features some of his favourite comedians and includes an hour dedicated to musical comedian Kev Orkian.

The roadshow is divided into two halves – the first features Marc, Tumi Morake and Robby Collins, followed by Orkian.

Much-loved Londoner Orkian will perform his hit show, which he has presentedat the Las Vegas Lounges. His most recent international TV appearance was on the Katherine Jenkins Show in the UK.

Morake has been acting since 2004. After discovering a knack for comedy, she branched out to the stand-up circuit in 2006.

She has performed on stage, television and in films in English, Afrikaans, Sesotho, Setswana and IsiZulu.

Collins from Durban spent four years on the theatre circuit before switching to stand-up comedy.

His material draws on real life and recently he opened for Trevor Noah in his 50-show tour, gaining experience and a host of new fans. – Arts writer
