Butler’s back with a new ‘Evolution’

Jonathan Butler will return home with his new Evolution show at GrandWest on September 12

SHOWMAN Jonathan Butler will return home with his new Evolution show at GrandWest on September 12. The gig will reunite him with Ronnie Joyce and Lionel Peterson, who will perform together again after almost 35 years.

The production will document the legend’s musical journey from young boy to the mature, reputable artist he is today. In storytelling fashion, Butler will walk punters through his tumultuous start to the establishment of his life-saving relationship with God.

Fans will be treated to many of the guitarist’s hits, plus new tracks from his latest gospel CD, Grace and Mercy. The show will also feature classics such as Peterson’s Bouncy Bouncy Bounce, Come Back Liza and Joyce’s Give a Little Love. – Arts Writer
