CHASE away the winter blues with “smoking hot” comedy acts on the first Wednesday of every month at Noordhoek’s Café Roux.
From well -known faces to the newest talents, Café Roux’s Stand-Up Sessions will offer a variety of acts to cater for most comedic tastes.
On July 6, Conrad Koch, Gino Fernandez, Phil Delange and Mel Jones will perform at 8.30pm.
Headliner Koch combines comedy with puppetry, and has done so for over 15 years. His outspoken political analyst puppet, Chester Missing, is fast becoming a household name.
On August 3, Siv Ngesi, Dalin Oliver, Yaseen Barnes and Tracy Klass will hit the stage at 8.30pm. Headliner Ngesi’s theatre experience includesproductions like Sizwe Banzi is Dead, The Island , Butlers and Brandy and more recently his stand-up comedy show Dekaf, and the controversial Race Card. - Staff Writer
