Eskom sales shutdown

ESKOM’S online prepaid electricity vending system was due to shut down from 8pm last night.

In a statement Eskom Hillary Joffe said: “Our vending system has been slow and even offline for the last couple of days.

Eskom has taken down the system so that it could identify the root cause of the problem and fix it.

“We are taking this very serious and Eskom’s top management is looking into the problem. We regret the inconvenience and apologise to our customers.” Eskom was looking at creatinf a system that was more stable, said Joffe.
