Kwakho Mamputa has already missed four rehearsals that could've brought her closer to fulfilling her dreams of walking on international runways.
The seven-year-old from Khayeltisha is preparing to perform at the International Presentation of Performers in Hollywood next month, but needs all the financial help she can get.
She has manged to raise nothing of the R79 000 she needs, as businesses that pledged their help have not lived up to their promises.
Her mother, Brenda, said she fears her child will not make it to the audition.
"It's a lot of money that is needed. Time is not on our side and I have fears that we won't reach the target, meaning this dream of a lifetime will not be realised," Brenda said.
