I enjoyed reading your editorial comment, "Better to be feared?" (Cape Times, June 2). I felt like cutting it out and framing it.
I totally agree, of course. As my previous letters have stated, the president has total control over the NEC.
It is my belief that should our president commit a heinous crime in plain sight of witnesses, a special law will be passed to pardon him.
The changes insisted on by Motsoeneng in the SABC are ominous.
I don’t know about you, but I have started to pray in earnest.
South Africa needs hope, but with absolute autocracy, hope is scarce!
