SA needs hope

I enjoyed reading your editorial comment, "Better to be feared?"
(Cape Times, June 2). I felt like
cutting it out and framing it.

I totally agree, of course. As my previous letters have stated,
the president has total control over
the NEC.

It is my belief that should our president commit a heinous crime in plain sight of witnesses, a special law will be passed to pardon him.

The changes insisted on by Motsoeneng in the SABC are ominous.

I don’t know about you, but I have started to pray in earnest.

South Africa needs hope, but with absolute autocracy, hope is scarce!
