A MITCHELLS Plain mother has been missing for almost two weeks after she was dropped off at a bus stop and never arrived for work.

The Mitchells Plain community has come out in force to help find 24-year-old Raymonde Boltman, who went missing on April 20.

Her sister Genevieve said Boltman and their mother walked to the Clocktower bus stop in Lentegeur together – their mother then went on to Elsies River.

This was the last time she was seen.

“We have heard nothing from her and we have no information about what has happened. We are still searching for her. It is a scary situation, but we have a strong support system in our family and community,” said Boltman’s sister.

She said their community held nightly prayer meetings for her sister’s safe return.

Boltman has a five-month-old baby. “She won’t run away or hide herself purposely; she has a young child. She wouldn’t leave her child.”

She was last seen in an orange checked shirt, blue jeans and tan ankle boots. Police spokesperson FC van Wyk had not responded by deadline.

Anyone with information can call Lentegeur police or Warrant Officer Sheldon on 021 370 5837/060 376 7654; Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or SMS Crimeline 32211. Information can also be given to The Pink Ladies at 072 214 7439.
