CAPE TOWN Stadium was filled with an electrifying buzz when Ajax Cape Town took on Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) yesterday.
The match was played in a packed stadium. Only one goal was scored, but the thousands of soccer fans delivered their own spectacle.
Chiefs were victorious when defender Tefu Mashamaite scored in the second half.
“Although we won, Ajax put us under pressure for most of the game,” Chiefs’ supporter Sonwabile Babayi said.
“The win is a good one, but they let us just get away with it. The atmosphere was lively from both (teams’) supporters.”
Ajax Cape Town supporter Jerome Cloete said: “We played very well and we pushed them. The loss is unfortunate considering how we played.
