Elephant research

The Friends of the Hout Bay Library AGM takes place on Saturday at 1pm in the Library Hall, Melkhout Crescent. Focus on wasps

Dr Simon van Noort will talk on the WOW factor of wasps on Tuesday at 6.30 for 7pm at Iziko South African Museum. Wasps are super-diverse with almost 20 000 species described from Africa alone. Fascinating biological interactions will be highlighted, including the life styles of maritime parasitoid wasps and fig wasp pollinators. Entrance is R30.
