MPs stood to observe a minute’s silence in honour of former ANC MP David Dlali, who was found murdered on his farm near Matatiele on Monday.
Members of Dlali’s family watched from the gallery as MPs from all parties paid tribute to a man they said had been hardworking, committed, and dedicated to improving the lives of the poor.
Two men, who both worked for Dlali on his farm, have already appeared in court in connection with his murder.
They were his farm manager and a labourer. – Political Bureau
