Tegucigalpa (Honduras)- US investigators concluded on Tuesday that the deadliest prison fire in a century was accidental and may have been caused by a lit match or some other open flame.
President Porfirio Lobo also announced he was pardoning a prisoner, Marco Antonio Bonilla, who helped free hundreds of inmates.
Bonilla also served as the prison nurse.
The death toll from the February 14 fire at the Comayagua prison rose to 360 on Tuesday.- Sapa- AP
