Media mogul Basetsana Kumalo took to Instagram to commend actress and brand ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha following the BET Awards in LA over the weekend.

The award-winning actress slayed as she co-hosted the awards alongside the former winner of America's Next Top Model Eva Marcille.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Kumalo wrote:

“Our golden girl, the Nubian Queen, she who reigns supreme, congratulations to you darling for being host of the @bet_africa #BETAlist You we're a vision on that red carpet in your @brandthreesixty in collaboration with @richfactory. You are owning it, living it and writing it E.V.E.R.Y.D.A.Y. Watching you daily standing in the light of your own truth brings me deep joy. 

"You my treasure are the kind of young woman Bontle should look up to. I have known you since you were only 4 years old, abangane bam' uPhumzile noNtombi noCarlos did a great job raising such a fine daughter. Nomzamo co-hosted the International Awards stage alongside US model Eva Marcille, while Pearl Thusi hosted the Global Glitz and Glam on the red carpet alongside music manager and entrepreneur Johnny Wright

Though the local musos did not win in their nominated categories, they still held the South African flag high with music legend Yvonne Chaka Chaka bringing home the International Global Good Star and Power Award.
