London - Miley Cyrus has vowed to keep her hair short forever.
The 20-year-old Can't Be Tamed singer - who previously revealed her fiance Liam Hemsworth encouraged her to cut her long curly mane off - had her peroxide blonde pixie-style cut even shorter last August and she insists she will never have long hair again because it is too high maintenance.
The So Undercover star told E! News: “I hated the extensions - hair that's sewn into your head. It's creepy. You will never see me with long hair again! My fiance loves it. It's so much easier to go shave the sides once a week rather than getting your roots done when you have long hair. I feel like when you have short hair, the messier it is, the better it looks. (It) looks better grungy and not washing it.
“It's so weird seeing (pictures of) me and my long hair. I do not like it. I wish someone would have ripped them out of my head because the extension thing is just so not cute! I hate it.”
A source close to Liam, 23, previously revealed he also prefers her with shorter hair: “Miley talked about cutting her hair even shorter and Liam was fully behind her decision.
“He loves that she's become so daring with her looks and thinks Miley looks great with an edgier hairstyle.
“When Miley told him she was thinking of cutting it, Liam immediately told her to go for it. He thinks she's got such a pretty face and that short hair makes her eyes look even more beautiful.
“She realises that people will speculate that she is perhaps rebelling, or going mad, but she's just a young girl trying something different.”
The singer and actress also revealed that she can't wait for her first new album in three years to be released later this year.
She said: “I'm ready to get that out. I'm excited to push play and have the world hear it!” - Bang Showbiz
