Amber Heard has paid $350 000 to two charities.

The 30-year-old actress has reportedly donated a fraction of the $7 million divorce settlement deal with her ex-husband Johnny Depp to Children’s Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) domestic violence unit, three days after the contract was agreed earlier this year, although she had originally promised she would donate the entire seven figure sum from the pair’s divorce settlement.

This news comes after reports the blonde beauty had failed to pass on the full amount of money to both organisations.

However, a representative from the ACLU has told TMZ they received a payment of 20 times less than what was expected from the ‘Magic Mike XXL’ star on August 19 this year.

And it has been reported the delay in sending the full amount was due to the former couple being unable to settle the deal between themselves, as Amber reportedly wanted to transfer over the money to the Children’s Hospital and the ACLU but Johnny hadn’t given her the money yet.

It is also believed the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor and his former spouse could not come to a decision over who was to send the money as the 53 year old wanted to donate the money in its entirety, whilst Amber wanted to be sent the amount first before passing it on to both companies in a bid to help Johnny avoid getting a tax deduction on the amount.

However, the dark-haired hunk previously donated the first instalment of $200 thousand equally to both organisations.

Amber’s lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, has told TMZ he predicts the papers will be signed this week.

Meanwhile, Amber - who is not allowed to mention the allegations made against Johnny, who has since had the domestic violence case dismissed, as part of their settlement - recently opened up about domestic violence in a new campaign for the #GirlGaze Project.

However, Johnny has "never talked" about his divorce on tour with his Hollywood Vampires band mates Alice Cooper and Joe Perry.

Speaking previously, Alice said: "We never heard about it on tour. We never talked about it, not once. I've never seen him in such a good mood though."
