US reality TV star Kim Kardashian is set to attend the prestigious Vienna opera ball this year, her Austrian host Richard Lugner announced on Monday.
The businessman and socialite said in Vienna that Ivian Sarcos, the Venezuelan Miss World 2011, would be his second hired celebrity guest.
Kardashian's fiancee, the rapper Kanye West, is not expected to attend the event at the Vienna State Opera on February 27.
The annual ball draws Austrian and European politicians and businesspeople, but public attention usually focuses on the celebrities hired by Lugner, who have included Sophia Loren, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton. - Sapa-dpa
