Has the #ProphetOfDoom not heard about what happened to the #SnakePastor? No problem! “EFF iyeza (EFF is coming),” says national spokesperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

The statement was a warning from the political party following the news of a Limpopo pastor spraying insect killer ‘Doom’ onto the faces of some of his congregants, claiming to cure their ailments.

Soon, we might have to go & fellowship with the #DoomPastor in accordance with John 2v15. We won't stand the abuse of black people anywhere!

The pictures of the pastor’s “healing” acts have been circulating on social media, and sparked conversation amongst celebs as well.

Top Billing host Maps took to social media to express his shock:

Just when you think you've seen it all with snakes, nudity, petrol, grass another pastor accepts the 'ridiculous' challenge & now: Doom. Wow

Comedian Skhumba didn’t find it funny at all.

He wrote on Instagram: “Ok jokes aside and let's just be serious..... is this even allowed? How desperate are we as a country to even allow a priest, prophet or who ever we believe in to do this to us.... from, grass to petrol, to being kicked in the stomach and all that nonsense..... what happened to a good old prayer.? I don't go to church and I ain't judging anyone but being sprayed by Doom is just crazy now....... never good ppl.... why do we even believe that this guys will help us nge Doom? Aaaaahhh Mara.....”(sic)

As the #Doom continues trending on social media, more people are expressing their views:
