Some of KZN’s top entertainers will share the stage for this year’s edition of “My Funny Valentine”, a celebration of the month of romance through comedy and love songs.

Long- time collaborators comedian Masood Boomgaard and songstress Natalie Rungan return once again to combine their talents for an unmissable show with a little something for everyone.

Joining them will be legendary “Flames” front man Steve Fataar and veteran funnyman Sagie Murugan.

Boomgaard is best known for his exploits on the South African comedy circuit on which he has performed with some of the biggest names around. He will explore the humorous side of love through his discussions on modern day dating as compared to the old days and attempting to answer the mystical question of what women want. While Boomgaard is usually known for his hard hitting style of comedy has promised to show in romantic side.

Rungan is known for having one of the country’s most beautiful voices. A recording artist who has performed internationally, Rungan will render some of history’s most memorable love songs by the likes of Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald and Adele.

Fataar will offer acoustic renditions of his biggest hits as well as some of the favourite love songs from the 50’s and 60’s.

Murugan has been entertaining crowds with his side splitting jokes for three decades and is sure to have the audience in stitches when he takes to the stage at Sibaya.

My Funny Valentine: Comedy and Love Songs takes place at the Sibaya iZulu theatre on February 10 and 11at 8pm and February 12 at 3pm.

Tickets are R120 from Computicket and Checkers.
