London - Jessica and Ashlee Simpson took their children toy shopping.

The sisters indulged in some retail therapy on Saturday at Toys ‘R’ Us in Burbank, Los Angeles, with Jessica's 10-month-old daughter Maxwell and Ashlee's excitable four-year-old son Bronx in tow.

The beautiful siblings geared up for the big event with a stamina-boosting lunch at Don Cuco, before raiding the aisles for some new playthings and emerging with a trolley full of purchases.

It seems Jessica - who is expecting a baby boy with her fiance Eric Johnson - can't get enough of baby shopping after she hit Bambini baby boutique in Beverly Hills the day before.

According to Us Weekly, the mother-to-be registered at the store and then checked out designers suitable for a baby boy, including Splendid, Jean Bourget and Little Marc Jacobs.

A fellow customer said: “She seemed to know exactly what she wanted.”

Jessica left the high-end shop - which was also visited by Kim Kardashian last week - laden with goods.

The singer accidentally revealed the sex of her baby on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this month, despite wanting to keep it a secret from the public.

While chatting about her pregnancy, she let slip: “It's a total different pregnancy. I just feel awful. I've been vomiting. I had no idea that a wiener can make me nauseous.

“Oh shucks! Well, I guess told the world that I was having a boy. I just outed that I am having a boy. I can't believe I did that. It was not planned!” - Bang Showbiz
