Susan Sarandon’s daughter has got engaged.
Actress Eva Amurri - whose father is Italian director Franco Amurri - announced she and soccer player Kyle Martino are to tie the knot after he popped the question last week.
The Californication star said: “The most wonderful man on this planet is now my FIANCEE!!!! #Engaged! (sic).”
She added: “What a week. I became a cartoon character, did a Maxim shoot, and got engaged! Lol. Not bad, not bad. Thanks for all the congrats!! Xoxo (sic).”
Susan, 63, and 25-year-old Eva enjoy a close relationship and the Oscar-winning star recently defended her daughter’s appearance in Californication, in which she had to play a stripper.
She said: “I've seen bits and pieces of some of the nudity and she looks beautiful - if you have it, why not?”
“She plays a woman who, as far as I can tell, is really in charge of her life and is not a victim. So it sounded to me like it would be a blast.
“I think if she were playing something that was going to be really hard for her psychologically or damaging, I'd be more concerned, but she had a really good time with the sex thing.” - Bang Showbiz
