Mzansi style icon and businesswoman Uyanda Mbuli topped the trending list on Tuesday afternoon following the launch of her highly anticipated reality show on SABC 3.
Uyanda It’s On was supposed to start on October 3 but for some undisclosed reasons that didn’t happen. However fans of Mbuli will be pleased to know that the show is finally debuting on April 5.
The new show was shot at various exotic locations around the world including Abu Dhabi, Las Vegas, Miami and Hollywood.
The high profile socialite and media personality is ready to grace the small screens again, with her new reality show officially launching in Sandton on Thursday, March 30.
While fans were congratulating her on the great milestone, haters were quick to criticise:
#UyandaItsOn the queen is back😍😘

#uyandaitson should have opted for a talk Show/something with substance, realityTVShow is a classic move for all Fallen Kweens
With the mixed Twitter reactions, the flamboyant TV star and motivational speaker responded politely:
Smart of SABC 3 to buy #UyandaItsOn. A shot up the arm re: ratings/viewership. Weird how I assumed the station was about a different demo
Mbuli is no stranger to SABC. Not only is she the former publicity manager for SABC1, she was also part of the management team that drove the channel’s 2005 brand repositioning from YaMampela to Mzansi4Sure.
