Chris Brown’s fight for his reputation has been played out on live TV and Twitter, and now he could take it to the mat.

The controversial, Grammy Award-winning popstar didn’t start the fight with WWE heavyweight champion CM Punk, and according to the muscle-bound wrestler, he won’t be in any position to finish it either.

CM Punk has challenged Brown to a no-holds-barred rumble in the ring, with the proceeds to be donated to charity, because Brown “never truly paid” for what he did to Rihanna. The spat originally started when CM Punk added his two-cents-worth to the debate over whether Brown should have performed at the Grammy Awards.

Brown retorted by saying that CM Punk was using steroids, prompting CM Punk to fire back with a video statement. After proclaiming that he is a “proud life-long drug-free straight edge individual”, CM Punk rips into his superstar nemesis.

“Chris and I come from different worlds. I don't have an assistant. I don't have a body guard. I don't have a manager or a PR person telling me to delete tweets like Chris does, and I don't hit women. Period.

“[Chris] has made the wrong accusations to the wrong person because I can defend myself.”

He then issued a fight challenge to Brown with this chilling warning.

“I will choke you out and I will make you feel as weak and as powerless and scared and alone as any woman who has the misfortune of knowing a sad cowardly little boy such as yourself.”

Brown responded via Twitter: “I really hope this 15 minutes of fame is paying you for the long run becuz music last forever! Wrestlers come and go according to ratings!” - IOL
