Johannesburg - While comedian Tracy Morgan lay unconscious in hospital after a tragic accident that claimed the life of one of his friends, an unseemly spat was playing out at his bedside.
According to gossip site TMZ, Morgan’s mother went to the hospital to see her critically injured son, but was turned away by hospital security on the orders of Morgan’s fiancee Megan Wollover.
Alicia Warden has had a well-publicised, strained relationship with her celebrity son. In a 2012 interview, Morgan said that he hadn’t seen his mother in 11 years. Warden claims nobody told her that her son was involved in an accident, and that she had found out about his condition on TV. She’s also convinced that Wollover has an issue with her.
Warden says she returned to the hospital the following day and was let in. However, because her son was unconscious, she was only allowed to stay for five minutes, and never had any time alone with him as his friends and pastor were also in the room.
"All I wanted was for our family to be alone with him. I wanted to pray over him and couldn’t do that because so many people were in the room," she said. - Tonight Reporter
