Jennifer Aniston's ex-boyfriend is “very happy” that she has got engaged to Justin Theroux.
Tate Donovan is thrilled the screen beauty - who he was briefly engaged to - is going to tie the knot with her 'Wanderlust' co-star and he hopes they have a “great” future together.
Speaking at a Television Critics Association cocktail party in Los Angeles, Tate told Us Weekly: “I am very happy for her. I hope it lasts and that they have a great time. And I'm sure they will. They seem like a very happy couple.”
The 49-year-old actor - who briefly played Joshua, the love interest of Jennifer's character Rachel Green, in several episodes of 'Friends' - met Justin, 41, when they both appeared on stage at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts and he is certain Jennifer has landed herself a “good guy”.
He added: “He's a really good guy. A really smart, very good guy.”
Tate has always spoken highly of Jennifer, 43, since their split in 1998, and after an impromptu meeting at the 2010 Golden Globes he gushed about how “gorgeous” she was in her black Valentino gown.
Jennifer and Justin were rumoured to have planned an intimate New Year's beach wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, during a vacation with family and friends.
However, the couple are said to have cancelled the ceremony after details were leaked and attracted too much attention to the area. - Bang ShowBiz
