Woody Allen’s wry wit may have made him a Hollywood legend, but he probably didn’t enjoy his son’s sense of humour this Father’s Day. While children around the world celebrated their dads this weekend, Allen’s estranged son Ronan posted this sarcastic tweet: “Happy father's day – or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day”.

According to the Daily Mail, 25-year-old Ronan, who works for the Obama administration, has been critical of his father’s marriage to Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of Allen’s ex-wife Mia Farrow and her second husband Andre Previn.

“He's my father married to my sister. That makes me his son and his brother-in-law,” said Ronan in an earlier interview.

“That is such a moral transgression.”

Ronan’s Father’s Day message was then retweeted by Farrow, who added “Boom”.
