London - Sandra Bullock has taken out an emergency protective order against a home intruder.

The Miss Congeniality actress wasted no time after a stranger named Joshua Corbett broke into her Los Angeles mansion over the weekend and has already sought legal help to keep him away from her, TMZ reports.

The gossip site claims this kind of order is only issued when someone has reason to fear the suspect, so believes the man in question could be Sandra's "stalker".

Joshua was arrested four minutes after the 49-year-old actress made a 911 call upon finding him going through her personal items.

The man was booked on suspicion of residential burglary, but could face additional charges when the case is reviewed by prosecutors. He is currently being held in lieu of $50 000 bail.

Law enforcement sources reportedly told Today that Joshua kept a diary about the Hollywood beauty and had an "obsession" with her.

The alarming incident came just hours after Sandra was presented with the Decade of Hotness prize at the Spike TV Guys' Choice Awards, held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California, on Saturday night. - Bang Showbiz
