'Spirit' rapper Kwesta has been invited to perform at the SXSW music festival next weekend, and this time, he is not the only South African rapper. Both Kwesta and 'Caiphus Song' rapper AKA have been listed on the music festival's poster, and are set to perform live in Austin, Texas.

The announcement of the performances came when the SXSW festival released the line-up, which shows that both South African rappers would be performing alongside hip-hop rapper Talib Kweli.

AKA has also been listed to perform at the 'Sounds from Africa & The Caribbean' event, alongside singer Patoranking and British rapper Kojo Funds.

The SXSW music festival is a week-long event that features talks on topics such as the LGBT+ community, advancement in technology, host film and video games screening, comedy festivals and music performances from artists like R&B singer Tinashe, South Korean rapper Jay Park, and Nigerian singer Seyi Shay.

The announcement of the two South African rappers appearing at the Texas music festival, comes after house DJ Black Coffee became the first South African DJ to perform at the famous Apollo Theatre in New York City over the weekend.
