Like a moth to a flame, it seems Selena Gomez just can’t stay away from Justin Bieber, or the alcohol.

Gomez was filmed meeting up with on-again-off-again boyfriend Bieber at the Miami recording studio, Hit Factory, on Tuesday night.

Gomez, who voluntarily entered a rehab facility in January, appeared to be heavily under the influence, despite carrying a water bottle. The singer clutched onto the arm of a friend for support as she approached the studio. Nevertheless, with Bieber waiting for her behind the glass doors, the 21-year-old was certainly dressed to impress. According to the Daily Mail, she sported a wild hair style, a black skirt with a thigh-high slit, a cropped white T-shirt and black wedge-heeled sneakers.

Gomez denied that her stint in an Arizona rehab facility was for anything drug or alcohol related, claiming she had simply “lost sight of who I was”.

However, gossip site TMZ reports that the former Nickelodeon kiddies channel star checked in for a two-week stay to deal with “a combination of problems, including alcohol, pot and prescription Ambien”. They also allege that Gomez blamed her problems on Bieber, who at the time was battling the law over his arrest for drag racing under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and Xanax.

At the time, Bieber and Gomez appeared to have gone their seperate ways, but the couple rekindled their romance and started to flaunt their new relationship during the SXSW Festival in Texas in early March.

Gomez’s family are said to be unhappy with the reunion, and the footage of Gomez appearing to be intoxicated as she met up with her beau will only add to their concern.

Bieber is in Florida to record new material, but he is also getting ready for a May 5 court date over his DUI arrest.

The singer seems set to reach a plea deal which will allow him to escape a harsh sentence. Prosecutors are said to be considering dropping three charges – driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence and driving without a license – if Bieber pleads no contest to reckless driving. In addition, claims TMZ, the prosecutors are also likely to back down on their request for the pop star to undergo random drug testing. - Tonight Reporter
