• Trisha, Sony Entertainment Television, 17.20

There’s a new queen of talk on the block, and her name’s Trisha Goddard. This British presenter gained a huge following with her Bafta-winning “tabloid talk show” in the UK. Now based in the US, she is presenting the American equivalent, Trisha. Through her common-sense approach to problem solving and conflict resolution, Trisha helps people and their families navigate their issues. Blending a no-nonsense approach with natural empathy, she guides guests through life’s little speed bumps with the aim, she says, of not only getting to the heart of their problems, but also planting the seeds of change within these family units.

• Braxton Family Values, Vuzu, 19.30

Evelyn and Traci visit Toni in Los Angeles and clash with Tamar. Trina and Gabe’s marriage is tested when unexpected guests turn up. Toni reveals that she’s been seeing her ex.

• Unforgettable, M-Net Series, 20.30

Poppy Montgomery stars as Carrie Wells, a former detective with a rare condition that makes her memory so flawless every place, every conversation, every emotion is for ever embedded in her mind. It’s not just that she doesn’t forget anything – she can’t forget anything, except for one thing: details from the day her sister was murdered years ago. Since then, Carrie has tried to put her past behind her, but she’s unexpectedly reunited with her ex-boyfriend and partner, NYPD Detective Al Burns, when she consults on a homicide case.

• Roadhouse 2, Sony Max, 21.00

The sequel to Roadhouse, which starred the late Patrick Swayze. Johnathon Schaech stars as his son, DEA agent Shane Tanner, who learns that his uncle Nate was beaten up by thugs after refusing to sell his bar in Louisiana to drug runners. Shane leaves New York for the deep south to take them on.
