Jeannie D is getting married!
The vivacious Top Billing presenter and former Good Hope FM DJ has confirmed that she is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Jon Firth.
Without going into too much detail about how Jon popped the question, the bootylicious babe would only say that this is an “amazing time” for her.
“It was wonderful and incredibly romantic,” she tells Channel 24.
“I already give a lot to the media. But this is the one thing you can’t have, not my man.”
Jeannie’s engagement will now certainly put paid to persistent rumours about her “affair” with her hunky Top Travel co-presenter, Janez Vermeiren.
Platonic
The pair have always insisted that their relationship was strictly platonic, with Janez saying he’s happy with his wife and son.
Jeannie is currently in the UK filming an interview with Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson.
The Gauteng beauty is also set to make an appearance as herself on SABC2 soap, 7de Laan.
Our Jeannie, 28, has certainly come far since her days as a Good Hope FM presenter.
Resigning from the station in 2006 was probably her best career move.
She joined the classy Top Billing team as a guest presenter, but soon signed on as one of its four full-time presenters.
Over the years, this local lass has interviewed Hollywood hotshots such as Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, David Gray, Kevin Spacey and famous shoemaker Jimmy Choo.
