 Man caught with bag full of dagga

A 36-year-old man was arrested in Mamelodi after police caught him with a bag full of dagga worth R10 000, Pretoria police said on Saturday.

Police pounced on the man at noon on Saturday following a tip-off from members of the public, said Constable Sam Shibambo.

"We suspect he was selling it but we have only charged him with possession pending further investigations," he said.

The man was expected to appear in the Mamelodi Magistrate's Court on Monday. - Sapa
