Farhaan Behardien (106) scored his fourth century of his first class career, while Jacques Rudolph (192) missed out on his double century for the Titans on the third day of their SuperSport-series match against the Diamond Eagles at the OUTsurance Oval in Bloemfontein.
The Titans had scored 468 in their first innings in reply to the home side's 404 while the Eagles will resume their second innings at 140/3 on Sunday with a lead of 76 runs.
Earlier, Rudolph and Behardien shared a 182 run partnership for the fifth Titan wicket before Rudolph was caught behind by Morne van Wyk off the bowling of medium pacer Ryan Bailey (1/50). Rudolph struck 27 boundaries in his innings.

Gino Vries, playing in his debut for the Eagles, picked up six Titan scalps, conceding 92 runs. Vries added the wickets of Behardien, Imran Tahir (20) and Basheer Walters (5) on Saturday to his three victims, Heino Kuhn (52), Pieter Malan (4) and Gulam Bodi (29) on Friday.
They lost Reeza Hendricks (9) early in their second innings when he was caught by Titans captain Pierre Joubert off the bowling of Walters.
Centurion of the first innings Dean Elgar was next to go when he was run out by Behardien with his score on 14 runs. The home side's captain, Boeta Dippenaar managed only nine runs before he was caught behind by Heino Kuhn off the bowling of spinner Tahir.
The 20 year old Rilee Rossouw (81*) and Ryan Bailey (7*) will be in the middle for the Diamond Eagles when the game continues on Sunday. - Sapa
