Hong Kong - A provincial government in central China has scrapped a rule that its female civil servants must have "symmetrical breasts" after a public outcry, a news report said on Wednesday.

The rule at the personnel department at the Hunan government was in place for several years, according to the South China Morning Post.

It was spotted by a female university graduate who raised the issue with the local media and forced the government to scrap the rule, the newspaper said. - Sapa-dpa
