Hong Kong - Police in Hong Kong were on Tuesday hunting for an attacker who raped two female British tourists at knifepoint outside a rural youth hostel.
The women, aged 21 and 23, were hiking back to the hostel where they were staying in Hong Kong's Tai Mo Shan district on Sunday evening when the man began following them.
He appeared drunk and became increasingly aggressive towards them after they rejected his advances, police said.
One of the women produced a penknife in an attempt to scare the man off but he grabbed it and used the knife to force himself on the two women, raping them one after the other.

Assistant district commander Gareth Williams described the attacker as in his 30s, strongly-built and South Asian or South American. "He was able to physically overpower both women."
The two women, who arrived in Hong Kong last week and checked into the youth hostel on Sunday afternoon, ran to the hostel to raise the alarm after the attacks.
They were just 100 metres from the youth hostel entrance when the rapes took place.
A huge police hunt with tracker dogs and 30 officers scouring the area for clues continued on Tuesday.
Attacks on women and tourists are extremely rare in Hong Kong, a city of 6,8-million, which has one of the world's lowest rates of violent crime. - Sapa-dpa
