Former Durban man Kyle Browne has become a celebrity overnight after being sexually linked with Rebecca Loos, the 26-year-old beauty who is said to have had a torrid love affair with David Beckham.

Browne, 21, left Durban three years ago after studying at Northwood School in Durban North.

According to his mother, Nicola Browne, the mass-circulating Daily Mirror on Tuesday paid Browne
£10 000 (about R116 000) for his "kiss-and-tell" story.

'A bisexual, vegetarian, sex-mad exhibitionist whom no man could resist'

The paper carried a front-page picture of Browne and the headline: "My kinky sex and cocaine with Becks's lover". The paper carried Browne's version of the romance across six pages.

Readers were given a taste of the story in which Browne described Loos as "a bisexual, vegetarian, sex-mad exhibitionist whom no man could resist".

Nicola Browne, speaking from London, told The Mercury she had been shocked to read of her son's antics.

She was alarmed and concerned, but was happy that drugs were no longer part of her only child's life.

"That is all over now. But I was still shocked when I read the details of their relationship and looked at some very intimate pictures of them," she said.
'She was very loud in bed, and I had to tell her to be quiet'

She said she always knew her good-looking, almost two-metre-tall son would become famous some day.

"But never did I think that he would become famous for a love affair," she said, adding that her son had received lucrative offers from international news agencies.

Kyle Browne told the Daily Mirror that Loos was "insatiable for sex and a fantastic looker", and that she picked him up at a club.

Speaking about their first night of sex, he said Loos had drunk "lots of wine and Jack Daniels and Coke".

"We had sex as soon as we got into my flat. She was very loud in bed, and I had to tell her to be quiet," he told the Daily Mirror.
