Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has left out midfielder Maniche in his Euro 2008 squad.
The omission of the 30-year-old veteran of Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup was the only surprise in the 23-player squad announced late on Monday for the tournament next month in Austria and Switzerland.
The former Porto and Benfica midfielder, who now plays for Inter Milan, was a regular starter in Portugal's qualifying campaign.
Portugal, who under Brazilian coach Scolari finished as runners-up to Greece on home soil in 2004, are in Group A with the Czech Republic, Turkey and co-hosts Switzerland.
