Mamelodi Sundowns are leading the race to qualify for this year's Telkom Charity Cup event at the Mmabatho Stadium.

The event that will be staged on August 2.

The voting lines for this year's event close on Friday midnight and the four teams who have made it through will be announced on Monday.

Downs are on 49 843 votes, followed by Celtic on 48 929 with Orlando Pirates third with 46 774, Kaizer Chiefs on 46 726, AmaZulu on 42 950 and Platinum Stars on 38 826.
