Our third free elections has successfully come and gone, but the learning process doesn't have to end there. As we celebrate a decade of democracy, Youthvote South Africa will continue to show you how to make a difference.

WHAT'S IN THIS FOR YOU!
1. WIN!
Loads of cool prizes, including bursaries to the tune of R250 000, compliments of Boston Business College and fabulous Cell C hampers loaded with funky goodies.
2. POWER!
Exercise your right to vote as a free citizen... the battle for the privilege was certainly hard enough!
3. LEARN!
Understanding the election process will help you represent your needs in the most effective way. Besides you also get to teach your parents a thing or two.

The youthvote concept originated in the United States where it is known as Kids Voting USA. Through Kids Voting USA, students from kindergarten through to grade 12 participate in classroom activities before joining their parents to vote on the same issues and candidates as the adults. The Kids Voting USA network of state organisations presently reaches 4,3 million students, 200 000 teachers, 6 000 schools, 80 000 volunteers and
20 000 voter precincts.
