Center, Texas - A couple molested their one-year-old son, aired the sex acts on the Internet and allowed a stranger to sexually abuse the child, authorities said.
Billy Don Latham and Ethel Latham were charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and remained jailed on Wednesday on $200 000 (about R1-million) bail each. The first-degree felony is punishable by five to 99 years or life in prison.
A police officer and a Child Protective Services worker visited the couple's home June 1 after the state agency received an anonymous tip about the suspected abuse, CPS spokesperson Shari Pulliam told AP on Wednesday.

Investigators found a computer full of pornography at the home, district attorney Lynda K Russell said in Wednesday's editions of The (Nacogdoches) Daily Sentinel.

CPS immediately took custody of the child, who has been placed in foster care, Pulliam said.
