Manchester, England - Wayne Rooney will miss Manchester United's Premier League match against Bolton on Saturday because of a calf injury.

Rooney already sat out England's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win over Belarus on Wednesday because of the injury.

The striker has hit seven goals for United this season, thriving in a central position since Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid.

Rooney may also miss Wednesday's Champions League match at CSKA Moscow but should be fit for the following weekend's meeting with Liverpool. - Sapa-AP
