Port Elizabeth - Former Proteas allrounder Nicky Boje will make his debut for the Chevrolet Warriors in the revamped MTN40 cricket series this weekend.

Boje has been named in a squad of 12 players which will contest fixtures in Durban (Nashua Dolphins) on Friday and East London (Nashua Cape Cobras) on Sunday.

South African wicketkeeper Mark Boucher was also named in the squad and he will fill the void left by regular gloveman and captain Davy Jacobs, who will be in Hong Kong with the SA Sixes team. Wayne Parnell returns to the team from suspension and will join a line-up that includes five allrounders and four specialist batsmen.

Boje's presence will add valuable experience and variety to the Warriors' attack - something, which has been lacking since the departure of Robin Peterson to Cape Town.

The 12-man Warriors squad is: Ashwell Prince, Colin Ingram, Arno Jacobs, Justin Kreusch, Nicky Boje, Mark Boucher, Johan Botha (captain), Wayne Parnell, Rusty Theron, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Makhaya Ntini, Craig Thyssen. - Sapa
