Milan - Reserve flyhalf Kristopher Burton was left out of Italy's squad on Tuesday for Saturday's Test with South Africa, the only change to the squad named for last weekend's 20-6 defeat by New Zealand.
Italy coach Nick Mallett will name his starting lineup on Thursday for the game against the world champions in Udine.
The South Africans are scheduled to name their team on Wednesday.
