Bloemfontein Celtic snatched a 1-0 home victory over Golden Arrows on Sunday in a South African Premiership clash to ease relegation fears.
Crowd control problems at the 15 000-seat stadium in the Free State mining city of Welkom delayed the kick-off by 10 minutes and brought a long delay to play midway through the first half when a fence collapsed.
Celtic had to move the match because their two venues in the provincial capital Bloemfontein are being upgraded ahead of the Fifa Confederations Cup during June.
The match against mid-table Arrows was settled by a soft 48th-minute goal as debutant Arrows goalkeeper Thulasizwe Khuzwayo spilled a Darryl Smith header off a cross and he poked in the rebound.

Celtic remain second last on the 16-team table, but are four points above Bay United with six rounds left and only the bottom club automatically drops out of the richest African national football league.
Platinum Stars moved away from the danger zone by winning 2-1 against Moroka Swallows in the central university town of Potchefstroom with Bradley Grobler tapping in the 73rd-minute winner.
