 Baby abandoned in public toilet

A Durban woman left her two-day-old son in a public toilet with a stranger, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.

"It is alleged that the woman asked another woman to look after her baby for a few minutes on Tuesday afternoon.

They were in the public toilet in Warwick Junction. The woman disappeared, leaving her baby with the stranger," Captain Khephu Ndlovu said.

Police were looking for the mother. - Sapa
