 ANC spokesperson killed in crash

ANC Free State spokesperson Teboho Sikisi, 38, died n a car crash outside Bloemfontein, police said on Sunday.

Johnson Mdali, 39, also died by their BMW veered out of control and overturned about 40km outside Bloemfontein on Saturday night, said Captain Rulene Kuhn.

A woman travelling with them, Christine Mdhlane, 25, survived and was admitted to the Pelonomi hospital, in Bloemfontein.

"The tragic death has robbed the ANC of one of its dedicated and committed cadres who also served as provincial government spokesperson and member of the Free State provincial executive
committee (PEC)," ANC national spokesperson Brian Sokutu said in a statement.

"Comrade Sikisi dedicated most of his life in a fight for a democratic, non-racial and non-sexist society in South Africa," he said.
