Kwaito music star Mandoza was found guilty of culpable homicide by the Roodepoort magistrate's court on Monday.

Justice spokesperson Zolile Nqayi said 30-year-old Mandoza, whose real name is Mduduzi Tshabalala, pleaded guilty to the charge which stemmed from a car accident in March last year.

Two men were killed in the crash on the N1 freeway outside Johannesburg.

Mandoza admitted that he caused the accident when he drove into the back of the victims' VW Jetta at high speed with his Chrysler Crossfire.

He was given a prison sentence of three years and nine months, suspended for five years.

Mandoza was also ordered to reimburse the families of the deceased for all costs incurred because of the accident. - Sapa
