 15 injured in Joburg taxi crash

Fifteen people were injured in a minibus taxi accident on Johannesburg's N1 north highway on Monday morning, private emergency services said.

Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said speculation is that a tyre burst and made the vehicle roll several times. The occupants were flung out. Two passengers were critically injured. Four had serious injuries and a remaining nine sustained minor injuries.

They were taken to Tembisa Hospital. - Sapa
