A Queenswood man who gunned down a robber at his father's home has pinned his level head and sharp shooting on the competency tests done when obtaining a firearm.
The robbery in Edgehill Road, Queenswood, on Friday night left one suspect dead and another without his genitals after he accidentaly blew them off with his own firearm.
At least three suspects entered the home and held up the family of 11, their pastor and his wife.

Weilbach said the victims immediately called their security company and other family members for help.

She said the husband, 58, went to the bedroom to fetch his firearm while three armed men entered the house and held the people inside at gunpoint.
The son, who does not want himself or his family identified, arrived to find "the leader" pointing a firearm at his father: "The moment he saw me he pointed his gun at me. I don't know how many shots I fired." Weilbach said the suspect died on the scene.
Meanwhile, two other relatives raced from Montana to assist: "They spotted the two suspects and went after them. They apprehend one in Stead Avenue and found some of the stolen items in his possession.
"The suspect then took out a firearm hidden in the front of his pants. A shot went off and the suspect wounded himself in the groin area," she said. The third suspect is still at large.
