The founder of Cirque du Soleil says he'll be taking some reading matter to the International Space Station this month. Not that he's worried about being bored, but he wants to read it to the denizens of Earth.
Guy Laliberte wants to use his $35-million (about R264-million) trip to promote his concerns about the world's water supply.
On Thursday, at the Russian astronaut training centre near Moscow, the Canadian told reporters "I'm bringing a text that will be delivered to planet Earth ... for creating awareness about the water situation on Earth." His reading is to be broadcast at shows in several cities.
